Compensation will consist of a base salary plus a commission plan along with full benefits. Since candidates cannot always talk during business hours, you will need to accommodate appointments in the evenings and on weekends.

Performance objectives for this position:
•Present qualified, interested candidates to hiring recruiters: Develop interest in a sufficient number of candidates so that at least four of your candidates are hired each month. To achieve this hiring goal, present at least ten candidates to an LRS recruiter each week. Complete a minimum of 10 in-depth phone screenings per week. Have a minimum of 50 phone conversations with candidates per week. Accurately assess candidates’ qualifications so that at least ninety percent of the candidates you pass to our hiring recruiters are qualified for a position at LRS. Screen candidates for basic technical competence, availability, interest level, visa status, salary range, and relocation needs.
•Develop and implement sourcing plans: Based on the candidate requirements, design and implement a course of action to develop a pool of qualified candidates from within your assigned geography. Learn to use multiple tools and techniques to develop a sourcing plan that will identify a large pool of candidates from various sources. Work with the full recruiting team to maintain the efficiency of the recruiting process.
•Record relevant information: Using provided tools, record information about candidate and your activities. Ensure that status and other information is current and accurate.
•Advance the hiring process: Ensure your candidates are contacted quickly and subsequent interviews are scheduled as soon as possible. Manage candidate’s reasonable needs including requests for off-hour conversations. Escalate problems to your manager.
•Support all recruiting activities at LRS: Maintain knowledge of all open position at LRS. Screen and assess candidates for any appropriate position at LRS. Follow recruiting rules about passing candidates to other recruiters.
•Learn about the technologies and the job market your recruit for: Use a variety of sources to keep informed about the job market, the candidate pool, and to learn about technologies used in positions at LRS. Use this information to improve your ability deliver qualified candidates to hiring recruiters.
Requirements:
Your success will be measured by your ability to quickly deliver appropriate candidates to hiring recruiters. You must accomplish this task while adhering to LRS policies and recruiting procedures. Honesty is a core value of our company, so rusing techniques will not be allowed.

You must have at least 6 months of experience in one of the following areas:
•Telemarketing
•Commissioned Sales ( Inside or Outside)
•Recruiting

You will need strong interpersonal and communications skills. Customer Service experience would also be considered a plus.

The LRS Enterprise Output Management (EOM) software sales group needs a pre-sales Systems Engineer. As an EOM Systems Engineer (ESE), you will provide technical assistance to the EOM sales team in proposing print management solutions to customers and potential customers. You will also provide technical services to LRS customers who use our Enterprise Output Management product line on the Mainframe, UNIX and Windows platforms.

Our EOM software products manage the delivery of output to printers, e-mail systems, web pages, spreadsheets, etc. You will provide pre-sales support to our marketing representatives who sell this industry-leading software to Fortune 2000 companies. Over 70 percent of the IBM mainframes in the USA use at least one of our software products and we have expanded our sales through the introduction of new products on distributed platforms to new and existing customers. Your technical expertise will be vital to our growth plans.

You will be a member of the regional ESE team and support the sales process by attending meetings with prospective customers to identify their technical requirements; provide them with technical product explanations; and provide guidance on how to implement them successfully in their specific environments. You will be responsible for performing product demonstrations at a customer sites or using web-conferencing. You will provide installation services for products trials at customer sites. You may present product seminars (single or multi-day events) and participate in other marketing-related events such as tradeshows. You may be asked to prepare and conduct training for customers, either via the web or at a customer’s site. You may participate in projects that will assist with the sales process including providing input to technical marketing documents. You may also be asked to analyze competitive products and provide written competitive comparisons.

You will work from the LRS office based in Dallas, TX. You can expect to travel up to 60 percent of the time within your region based on the marketing reps you are supporting. The compensation consists of base salary. There is no commission component. This position is eligible for overtime compensation.

Performance Objectives:
•Understand full product/services line: Within one month after completing the EOM Basic Training, have a general understanding of the EOM products and be able to demonstrate that knowledge to your manager.
•Perform technical services: Within three months, successfully install and test the primary EOM products.
•Provide Pre-Sales Technical Support: Within your first three months, contribute to the generation of new business by accompanying sales representatives on sales calls to meet with decision makers and identify potential technology needs in their environment. Work collaboratively with the sales team to prepare and deliver accurate, customized proposals to all qualified prospects within one week from the presentation. Prepare and present effective presentations using tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint to customers in settings that may range from very small to very large groups.
•Learn the full product/services line: Within six months, completely understand the available EOM software products and demonstrate this knowledge through discussions with your manager, other pre-sales staff and other marketing staff.
•Maintain records: Provide weekly status updates to your manager about ongoing projects or product installations. Record all customer contacts and activities in the current CRM system.
Requirements:
1. Three years of pre-sales technical experience, preferably in output management, archiving or related product areas
2. Four years of Systems Administration/Technical Support or related experience working with multiple Open Systems/Windows platforms for organizations of at least 1,000 employees or customers of similar size
3. Two years of experience with Visual Basic and/or Perl scripting languages
4. Experience in Systems Administration/Technical Support with components of IBM’s z/OS or OS/390 mainframe operating system, including installation and integration of system software, will make you a stronger candidate
You need to be a technical professional who is comfortable and competent when interacting with customers in a pre-sales environment. Your ability to effectively communicate (both verbally and in written form) features of the EOM product suite in a diverse group, ranging from CIO’s to system programmers, will be instrumental in the sales process. To demonstrate these skills, you must have experience making presentations to a live audience. This experience could be with sales presentations, technical presentations, or training. You must have experience explaining complex technical concepts using simple terminology.

Success Keys:
The key to your success is your ability to utilize your EOM software product knowledge to assist in generating new software license revenues. You must quickly develop a technical understanding of the EOM product suite and understand how the products relate to customers’ business needs. In house training will be provided. Your aptitude or experience developing an understanding of customers’ IT environments, identifying and qualifying customer requirements, and identifying product requirements will be vital to your success.

Organization Structure and Interfaces:

The EOM Division at Levi, Ray &amp; Shoup, Inc. comprises more than 150 employees divided between 2 groups: sales/marketing and software development/support. The EOM sales and marketing group has approximately 80 employees based in the USA plus an additional 50 employees based in our international offices. A Senior Vice-President oversees the entire sales and marketing operations both domestically and internationally. Three directors and two managers report to the Senior Vice-President. They are the Director North American Sales, Director of European Sales, Director of International Marketing, Senior Manager of PageCenter Sales and EOM Services, and a Senior Manager of Business Alliances.

For the North American EOM Services group, three Technical Managers report to the Senior Manager of PageCenter Sales and EOM Services. You will report directly to the Technical Manager for your region.
