Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced IT Hardware Asset Manager to define, deploy, and oversee all phases of the enterprise hardware IT Asset Management (ITAM) process. This role is responsible for managing hardware inventories, vendor relationships, and leasing agreements, and ensuring the organization’s hardware environment supports business operations effectively.Key Responsibilities:Maintain accurate records of IT hardware assets across the organizationBuild and sustain automated asset inventory systemsManage contracts and relationships for leased hardware assetsEnsure adequate inventory levels to fulfill hardware requestsDevelop and implement enterprise-wide asset management policies and proceduresIdentify and deploy ITAM best practicesOversee the lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, maintenance, and decommissioningManage warranties and service agreementsDefine and enforce hardware standards and compliance controlsConduct regular audits and inventory reviewsStandardize and oversee device shipping and receiving processesImplement and manage ITAM tools and systemsServe as the point of contact for selected hardware vendorsGenerate asset reports to support forecasting and decision-makingPartner with other departments to support hardware needs for various projectsRequired Qualifications:Associate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience in IT asset managementExperience managing leased assets and coordinating resources across multiple locationsFamiliarity with ServiceNow ITAM module (preferred)ITIL Certification (required or in progress)Industry certifications such as ITAM, CITAM, or CHAMP are preferredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:In-depth understanding of ITAM standards and practicesStrong problem-solving and customer service skillsEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage time, tasks, and priorities efficientlyCollaborative and professional interpersonal styleLeadership and mentoring experience a plusMust be able to read, write, and communicate in EnglishAdditional Information:This is a full-time, on-site position located in Lenexa, KS. Occasional travel (1–3 times per year) may be required for training, conferences, or vendor engagements.The base range for this contract position is $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations.
