The LRS Enterprise Output Management (EOM) EMEA (Germany) team is seeking a Systems Engineer. As a Systems Engineer, you will provide pre-sales support to the LRS Sales Team and professional services to our customers. This position will be based in our Munich, Germany office or may be based from a home office location in Germany.  

LRS EOM software products manage the capture, delivery and archiving of output (computer generated documents) from any platform (mainframe to mobile) to any printer or output channel (email, web portal, archive etc). LRS Products run on IBM mainframes, Windows, Unix, Linux  and other platforms.  You will be trained to support all of these product sets.

Your duties will include analysing customer requirements before identifying and confidently presenting LRS solutions. You will also be responsible for solution design and implementation of LRS products. You will be involved in responding to RFP/RFI requests and will be required to record communication with customers and partners in the LRS CRM system. 


You must have completed at least 2 years of a degree level computer science course and/or be able to demonstrate a track record of success working in a software pre-sales and/or professional services role.

You must have excellent analytical and diagnostic skills and demonstrate effective verbal and written communication. You must have strong listening and presentation skills.   

You must have strong ‘hands-on’ technical skills. Experience of Output Management, Archiving and Workflow, Electronic Document Formats, Windows, Linux, Unix, SAP or IBM Mainframe administration are all desirable as are scripting and/or programming skills.

You must be well organized and have the ability to manage and effectively prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.  

The successful candidate will have have a strong customer service ethos and be a good team player who contributes and shares knowledge and expertise openly and proactively.

You must be self-motivated, take initiative and have the flexibility to travel.


Organization Structure:

You will report to the DACH Technical Manager. The DACH technical team operates collaboratively with the EMEA and Global LRS pre-sales and profession services teams.  

LRS operates a standard six month probation period and 25 days annual holiday.
