Telecom Project Coordination/Operations Technician will:

Responsibilities:

· Under general supervision and using established procedures and
policies applies skills and knowledge to identify, document, investigate,
research, and resolve hardware questions and problems in a timely manner while
maintaining positive relationships with users.

· Under general supervision and using established procedures and
policies applies Advanced skills and knowledge of electronics equipment to
properly Analyze, install and troubleshoot Printers, Headsets, phones, and all
network cabling from data and voice centers to end users. Working with campus
sites and local departments for company moves.

· Working with campus sites and local departments for company end user

· Follow steps to properly order, configure, install, replace, and
troubleshoot networked timeclock hardware

· Shop floor troubleshooting of fork truck mounted warehouse management
computers

· Order, configure, install, and support Zebra printers for warehouse
management

· Order, configure, install, and support handheld scanners for
warehouse management system

· Shop floor troubleshooting of Motorola handheld scanners that are
used with the Syclo system.

· Order and configure scanners for new users, PC’s, or physical
locations

· Advanced knowledge of order and inventory applications for receiving,
Creating, closing work tickets and trouble tickets.

· Complete printer and peripheral installs based on Print Smart
guidelines, headset installs, moves, adds and changes, and other general work as
assigned.

· Package and ship equipment to remote locations for overnight
replacement.

· Assist users on the shop floor with technical issues and support

· Be the lead on special requests & projects, and high level work order
requests

· Manage and control large infrastructure projects to ensure time lines
and schedules are met. Managing the request process for setting up new locations in terms of dates, cost, timeline.

· Work with 3rd party vendors on escalated issues

· Work with Contractors on infrastructure projects and meet timelines
established.

 

Must have the following experience:

· 5+ years of experience working in IT industry (Telecom Preferred)

· Knowledge of order and inventory applications for receiving,
Creating, closing work tickets and trouble tickets.

· Experience with managing WAN/LAN cabling installation/design projects

· Experience with Wireless WAN/LAN design, Installation and
troubleshooting

· Proficient in Microsoft office, Word, Excel, VISIO, Access,
PowerPoint, and MS Project and the Internet.

· Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written
& verbal)

· Candidate must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for
