The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst will be establishing company security program by evaluating business strategies and requirements, researching information and security standards, performing risk assessments, and providing recommendations for remediating identified risk. This is an exciting opportunity that will allow this individual to come in with their background experience and knowledge and play a big part in transforming unique security solutions to address evolving security needs for small specialized business groups. Will be responsible for preventing and responding to cybersecurity incidents; driving execution of cybersecurity enhancements; implementing security plans, policies, and procedures; managing the Cybersecurity Maturity Model (CMMC) implementation; tracking and ensuring compliance with Covered Defense Information (CDI) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI); and supporting the overall digital security of the organization.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Accounting or related field or equivalent relevant work experience
• Seven (7) years minimum of information security governance, risk and compliance experience
• Solid technical background with an applied understanding of common attack methodologies; common types of security risks and mitigation strategies
• Experience developing effective, pragmatic information security policy and standards frameworks
• Exceptional skills at building and continually strengthening relationships with teammates and partners, thereby influencing key decisions they make
• Ability to bridge gaps of understanding between business and technical partners
• Self-starter, positive attitude, ability to work independently, enjoys learning and staying current with industry developments, regulations, and best practices.
• Hands on experience with network security tools, including but not limited to the following: SIEM/SOAR, EDR, IDS/IPS, Firewalls, Anti-Virus and Threat Intelligence Platforms.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, and additional protocols, including wireless networking principles.
• Hands on experience working with Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol.
• Strong understanding of advanced persistent threat actor TTPs
• Experience in additional InfoSec domains such as secure development, cryptography, forensics, applications security, policy, cyber threat intelligence, and/or incident response
• Ability to perform deep dive investigations from start to finish of a security incident using data from both host based and network based devices.
• Ability to forensically investigate both Windows, Android, and Apple devices for compromise.
• Practical understanding of at least two security control frameworks and associated policy requirements from the following set: ISO 27001, NIST 800-171, DFARS, CMMC, HIPAA, Cloud Security Alliance Cloud Controls Matrix (CSA CCM), SOC2
• Experience with information security risk management
• Experience with data privacy/protection
• Proven project management skills, especially in a cross-functional environment.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross functional team and drive results
• Experience planning, conducting, and documenting security compliance assessments based on a variety of standards, laws, and regulations
• Led development of detailed recommendations for mitigating findings and process improvement projects
