person. LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Automation Specialist for a Permanent
opportunity with our client in Lake Zurich, IL!

As an Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for using our servicing platform’s inbuilt Component Object Model (COM) and a database warehouse to develop and manage tools used by the Special Loans department team members. In order to achieve this, you will work closely with project managers to design, develop, test, and implement automation tools. After implementation, you will monitor to ensure proper usage and address any lingering issues. At times, you will be asked to assist with creating reports or assisting with projects to meet department goals. This self-motivated, independent individual will be responsible for managing multiple projects given to them, while providing and maintaining accurate and reasonable deadlines.

Essential Functions and Duties:

-VB coding within servicing platform’s COM.
-Maintain department’s coding protocols.
-Maintain all updates on current and recently completed projects following up on any issues and determine corrections and/or additional improvements.
-Act as department’s administrator for developed servicing platform tools.
-Outline new procedures on updated tools and reporting as assigned.
-Complete Ad-hoc reports and miscellaneous tasks by management’s request.

Required Qualifications:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 1-2 years coding in VB and/or working with application COM/API
- 1-2 years working with relational databases
- Mortgage servicing experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Independent worker that works well under strict deadlines

Required Computer and Software Competency

- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Outlook, Access (including macros)
- Advanced VBA or VBScript
- Experience with MSP
- SQL
