Network Engineer:

Deep understanding of L3 LAN, VPN, application and network firewall, IDS technologies, authentication technologies, encryption technologies like PKI, TLS
Network Engineer that can perform device recovery and map an environment
Understanding of data classification and data security techniques
Worked in security compliance environment and map design and operations to security controls defined by the various framework
Experience in designing security compliant network architecture to deliver managed services to customers
Ability to work with teams to understand use case for human connectivity, automation connectivity, file transfer, API and other connectivity with customers
Scripting capability to scale the network and application discovery process would be a plus
Good understanding of various infrastructure and application protocols and ways to secure them
Ability to design the delivery architecture changes and have a discussion with Client Security and Customer security team for connectivity and adoption of automation.
Roll the sleeves kind of person, self-managed, ability to manage multiple priorities, team player, works well in matrix org, good communication skills and pragmatic.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides advanced technical support within an area of expertise to clients and internal personnel on complex issues and has a lead role within major projects
Responsible for developing global project plans, budgets, schedules and documentation of work results Involved in developing, modifying and executing internal policies
May develop network standards for global adoption
Consistently provides guidance and project direction to less-experienced staff
Works on unusually complex problems and provides solutions, which are highly innovative
Collaborates with other cross-functional groups and other engineering and architecture groups
Independently analyzes and provides innovative solutions to network engineering and design projects
Conducts senior leader presentations
Authors and distributes technology white papers Participates in development of highly complex, innovative, and cost effective solutions to problems facing organization; technical expertise is utilized in areas such as business acquisition, and/or client support
Defines architecture and standards for complex global, unified communications infrastructures

Requirements:

5+ years of experience with networking
5+ years of experience with configuring switches, running cable, activating ports.

Colorado salary range - $20/hr to $125/hr
