LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer for a contract to hire opportunity for our client located in Brentwood, TN.

The Desktop Engineer is responsible for high-level network planning, design, implementation and optimization while administering and developing network systems and solutions.

Primary Duties:
Implements policies and procedures pertaining to deployment, security, maintenance, and operational support of approved devices, throughout the lifecycle of that device.
Under limited supervision, provides support to end users for either PC, server or mainframe applications, and hardware.
Develop relationships with network services, software systems engineer, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problems
Evaluate existing components or systems to determine integration requirements and to ensure final solutions meet organizational needs.
Conduct analysis of business problems and lead the evaluation, development, and recommendation of specific technology products and platforms to provide cost-effective solutions that meet business and technology requirements.
Research and design best fit infrastructure, network, database, and/or security architectures.
Provide guidance to clients on operations of products and answer questions on function and usage.
Serve as liaisons between the organization and customers.
Collaborate with sales, service, and technical groups to ensure technical solutions meet client need.
Troubleshoot and resolve sophisticated and escalated technical product support issues for technical product support personnel.
Interact with product development and quality assurance teams to give feedback, discuss design issues, investigate problems, and develop solutions to meet the technological needs of users.
Develop technical documents, instructions, and training for support personnel.
Possess in-depth knowledge of the organization's products and/or services.

Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience
Experience with SCCM or Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
Experience engineering application integrated devices in an enterprise environment using Microsoft technologies is a strong plus
Experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Citrix, print servers, anti-virus technologies, group policy, and Microsoft Office products.
Working knowledge of device technologies, including drivers, network components, software, management solutions, and connection methods is a plus.
Ability to obtain necessary application proficiencies within allotted timeframe(s).
Experience evaluating new peripherals and technology is preferred
Must have permanent authorization to work in the US
