Our client is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team and contribute to the design and development of standardized datasets derived from multiple systems of record. Success in this role will be developing and applying existing development and scripting skills in process automation to orchestrate data pipelines from business systems, data lakes and third-party repositories and create and load dimensional models used for analysis and reporting.

Data Engineer will be Responsible For:
- Collaborating with business teams to identify data models and data sets for analytical consumption.
- Developing data products using continuous deployment and automated data integration practices
-Applying standard methodologies to analyze, design, develop, and deploy data management solutions.
- Participating in agile story authoring, sizing, and demo sessions for developed features
- Participating in code reviews and provide feedback to the team
- Building real-time and batch data integrations from disparate source systems into the data lake/data warehouse
- Building and maintaining scalable ETL processes using workflow automation tools
- Designing dimensional models and be able to cleanse and transform raw data into structured format
- Administering and maintaining data pipelines used for loading data into the data warehouse
- Providing production support for integration and transformation pipelines
- Following defined data governance framework and enterprise data models
- Scaling and tuning data pipelines, data sets and SQL queries

- Minimum of 3 years experience as a data engineer and/or software engineer
- Minimum of 3 years experience building ETL processes
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with AWS or Azure workflow orchestration tools
- Adept in reading/writing SQL in the following environments (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2)
- Experience working with one or more columnar storage systems ( snowflake, redshift, Big query, etc)
- Experience working in cloud data environments (AWS, Azure)
- One full cycle completed in building a data lake or data warehouse in career to date
- Exposure or knowledge of data streaming tools and technologies like Kafka, TensorFlow or similar
- Power BI is preferred but not required

Even Better If You Have:
- Proficiency with Excel including building macros
- Experience working with or building data lakes and or data warehouse in a hybrid environment
- Experience working with CRM Systems like Salesforce
- Experience with end to end supply chain or merchandising
- Experience working in an IBM DB2, SQL Server or Oracle environment
