LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Junior Developer for a contract-to-hire remote opportunity with our supply chain client in the northern suburbs of Chicago, IL!

Responsibilities:

- Develop and enhance custom .NET applications in a collaborative team environment
- Work with both IT and Business groups to design, develop and support new and existing applications
- Build and support interfaces using various tools such as MS SQL, .NET, RPA, Web Services, and API's
- Gain exposure to Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing AI technologies
- Work with a variety of 3rd party applications
- Learn and grow within an innovative technology team
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or completion of a suitably thorough Coding "Boot Camp"
- 6+ months relevant development experience (academic, internship, or professional) in object oriented programming languages.
- Foundational knowledge of most/all of the following: C#.NET, SQL, Web API's, and JavaScript
- Foundational knowledge of all phases of software development, including requirements, design, implementation, support and the product release cycles.
- Foundational knowledge of relational database concepts and table structures.
- Hands-on experience with version control tools such as Git preferred.
- Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer.
