LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Sr Security Analyst for our client based out of New York, NY (lower east side). You will assist customer in improving cyber incident response. Design, build and enhance cyber-incident detection tools and capabilities. Devise appropriate remediation strategies and assist customer in containing, eradicating and recovering from cyber security incidents. This is a 12 month contract position that could be extended.

At least 10 years of cybersecurity experience and 5 years of experience with the following
• Performing security event and incident detection and handling in an operational environment such as SOC, CSIRT, CERT, etc.
• Knowledge of and experience with packet analysis and IDS/IPS technology
• Experience in website and web application security assessment or penetration testing
• Experience with automation, scripting (Python, Perl, Ruby, etc.)
• Knowledge of multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, OS X)
• Security hardware: Palo Alto, Cisco, Check Point, IBM
• Security software: HCL AppScan, Veracode, Net Forensic, Check Point, CrowdStrike, Nessus, Rapid7, Juniper IVE SSL VPN, Humio, QRadar, Riverbed Cascade, IBM IDS, Qualys, Foundstone, Mazu, key management, mobile device management and DLP technologies.
