Job Description
LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Cloud Security Analyst for a contract-to-hire position with our client in Denver, CO.

Responsibilities:
The person in this Security Analyst position will contribute to creating and maintaining knowledge documentation and performing ad-hoc analysis relevant to security related tooling, standards, and procedures for applications hosted in internal data centers and in AWS. Along with a strong knowledge of DevSecOps, vulnerability management, and data security standards, the ideal candidate for this role will have a high aptitude for investigative interviewing, technical writing, and authoring detailed documentation.
This person is also responsible for working with teams across the Enterprise to understand and document requirements, to communicate the status of vulnerabilities during the remediation process, and to share knowledge in working sessions and formal presentations. To succeed in these efforts, this person must be resourceful and possess sharp technical and interpersonal skills; being equally willing to self-service and engage others, depending on the circumstance.
Requirements:
-At least 3 years experience in an IT security role focused on identifying web application and backend vulnerabilities.
-At least 2 years experience in software development role with demonstrable experience in risk remediation.
-Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, OWASP ASVS, and SANS Top 25
-Strong knowledge in security standards and practices for both on-premise and AWS environments; CCSP, CISSP, or other cloud-focused application security certifications are a big plus.
-Experience executing trace routes, network mapper scans, and utilizing a wide variety of standard application security tools.
-Very strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to capture and articulate technical and non-technical details.
-A strong, team-oriented spirit, and a positive, exuberant personality focused on learning and overcoming obstacles.
-Corp-to-corp candidates will not be considered
-Experience with Agile practices and working within a DevSecOps culture is a plus.
-Organized and able to work across teams on multiple applications.
