Application Developer Responsibilities:

• Converting current Application written on a Java/Oracle Platform to a .NET/SQL solution
• Maintain and develop applications for client
• Assist clients development team in maintaining, enhancing and developing applications for KDHE which will include information gathering, tending to help desk tickets, debugging end user issues, setting up and administrating test and production environments in both the dataLayer and client interfaces.
• Review new and existing applications and present creative solutions or providing direction for strategic decisions regarding application platform and architecture
• Analyze user needs and software/system requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
• Design, develop, and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
• Determine system performance standards and define goals of the system and devise flow charts and diagrams describing logical operational steps of programs.
• Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve performance.
• Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.
• Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent requirements.

Technical Skill Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with .NET and C# or other object-oriented programming, coding, testing, and debugging application programs.
• Java and MVC experience is considered a plus
• HTML and CSS is also considered a plus
