Job Description
LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Business Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity with a client of ours in Topeka, KS. The Business Analyst will be responsible for:
- Requirements Management including defining, analyzing, and documenting requirements through the planning and development life cycle.
- Workflow diagraming and analysis.
- Conduct needs assessment with gap analysis
- Facilitate stakeholder workgroups to obtain their requirements of an internal system
- Perform alternative analysis with cost benefit analysis
- Develop Feasibility Study Report
- Assist with request for proposal (RFP) development
- Communicate clearly to stakeholders, facilitators and partners.
- Use requirements to drive the design and manage project scope for the RFP.
Program Research:
- Information Request Documents
-Gather all documents needed for contractor research.
- SharePoint searching
- Seeking out documents and information from business and IT teams via email and meetings
- Meetings with Business/ Program
- Assist in ad hoc information gathering and administrative work such as meeting availability and locating appropriate internal resources.
Business Analyst Requirements:
- Bachelors degree and four years' experience with IT related work gathering requirements, requirements management, documenting workflows and facilitation as a Business Analyst.
- A high level of proficiency with MS Visio and Excel
- Knowledge and or experience with SharePoint highly preferred
- Preferred, but not required: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) Certification or other Business Analysis certification.
