LRS Consulting Services is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer for a remote contract-to-hire opportunity for our Chicago science communications client!!

- Lead &/or participate in the development/design/revision and implementation of specific Salesforce components
- Create custom applications and processes within the Salesforce CRM
- Customize visual layouts to provide users with the most relevant experience possible
- Integrate third-party platforms
- Support and maintain existing custom components
- Collaborate with sales, customer support and marketing teams to translate business needs into effective tools within Salesforce.
- Participate in unit testing, debugging
- Develop technical documentation.

- Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
- Minimum of 4 years' software development experience in relevant enterprise systems with minimum of 2 years' recent development experience in Salesforce platforms.
- Software engineering skills with Platform, including strong expertise in Apex (with Certified Developer certification preferred)
- Experience and expertise in core web technologies and services, including all/most of the following: REST API's, JSON, XML, HTML 5, JavaScript and jQuery
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of relational databases
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer
