LRS Consulting Services is thrilled to announce an exceptional direct hire opportunity for a Software Engineer IV with our esteemed client based in vibrant Kansas City, MO. This role offers the perfect blend of flexibility, allowing you to work remotely for two days a week while enjoying a collaborative in-office environment for three days.

The Software Engineer will require more backend experience (no front end/user interface). It will focus mainly on inter-system integrations and Web API development using Microsoft C# (.NET) as the programming language.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

- College degree or equivalent technical training
- At least 7 years of programming experience with demonstrated proficiency utilizing C#/VB.NET to develop/support web and network hosted enterprise applications
- Proven ability to evaluate/refactor code for reliable architecture, stability, reusability, performance, automation, security and metrics
- Experience building multi-tier applications leveraging APIs and SOA frameworks (swagger)
- Strong experience with source repository, specifically Git.
- Experience with Agile-Scrum and other development SDLC tools/ processes/ methodologies
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Build high-quality scalable and predictable web applications on the Microsoft technology stack and maintain internal and external facing web applications
- Evaluate new code for reliable architecture, stability, reusability, performance, automation, security, and metrics
- Authoritative source for relevant Microsoft platforms, familiarity with opensource frameworks and technologies a plus
- Provide project leadership by planning, allocating, motivating, and controlling project work and IT staff and other resources on a limited scope
- Assist in the development of IT staff technical expertise by preparing and conducting formal classes and providing technical assistance on complex system problems
- Contribute to the improvement in departmental and operating efficiencies by participating in the development of standards and procedures and by initiating and promoting new
concepts and ideas
- Create and direct software system testing procedures, documentation, and programming to ensure all software is properly developed and regularly tested for quality assurance.
