As a Scrum Master you will:

  • Coach and develop 2-3 team(s) to a high-performing level, in self-organization and cross-functional skillsets
  • Help the Scrum Team deliver high-value Increments that meet the Definition of Done and are up to quality standards at the conclusion of each sprint.
  • Collaborate with Scrum teams, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision-making and support organizational project or product teams
  • Resolve conflicts and remove impediments impacting the development team(s) and help address cross-team dependencies to ensure product delivery risks are eliminated or mitigated
  • Support all Scrum events by ensuring they regularly occur, are positive, highly productive and timeboxed appropriately.
  • Help product owners provide a clear, concise and compelling Product Vision/Goal and Product Backlog
  • Cultivate and maintain a productive environment where team members are invested in the product and help insulate the team to limit product delivery risks
  • Measure, track and report on the effectiveness and productivity of the Scrum team through the development and maintenance of relevant Scrum team performance metrics
  • Contribute to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization by guiding development team(s) to higher Scrum maturity and helping employees and stakeholders understand and enact an empirical approach for complex work

Must have the following experience:

  • 4+ years of product or project development on an Agile Team
  • Proven success with facilitating meetings at various levels of the company
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong collaboration, negotiation, and coaching skills
  • Experience working with Agile framework (i.e. Scrum, Kanban)
  • Understanding of software development life cycle models
  • Adept at providing hands-on coaching and support for Scrum (theory, values, roles, events and artifacts)
  • Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence is a plus
  • Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)
  • Candidate must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer

Colorado Pay Range:
20 - 125/per Hour
