LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Network Engineer for a contract to hire opportunity with our client in Fort Worth, TX.

Position Summary and Responsibilities:
Network Engineer, will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining new and existing Networks and infrastructure. You will be a member of our core engineering team with opportunities to advance in your career.

Networks Engineer duties and responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze network needs, and propose solutions.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Cisco switches, Ruckus
  • Access Points and Fortinet firewalls to optimize network
  • performance and security.
  • Monitor network performance and proactively identify
  • and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
  • Implement and manage network security measures,
  • including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection
  • systems.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure
  • effective network management and support.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, including
  • network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices
  • and make recommendations for network improvements.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior network
  • engineers and other IT staff.
  • Participate in security management.
  • Use diagnostic tools to determine deficiencies.
  • Suggest and oversee improvement processes.
  • Attend webinars and conferences
Job Qualifications:
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Must document systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Communicate and demonstrate techniques while cross training
  • other employees on various applications and hardware.
  • Maintain clean work environment.
  • Procurement of network hardware and replacement devices
  • Track shipments and warranty service request
  • Consistently and accurately use the ticketing and
  • Purchasing system to enter, track and close all client transactions
  • Maintain the privacy of all client data
