About Us:

LRS Web Solutions, the premier web development group in Central Illinois since 1996, is seeking two Web Application Developers. We specialize in website planning, development, professional graphic design, custom programming, dedicated hosting, and maintenance. We are seeking two placements for this contract-to-hire position as a Web Application Developer to join our team. Local candidates will be given preference.

Responsibilities and Performance Objectives:

As a Web Application Developer, you will develop robust, secure, and user-friendly web applications using .NET, SQL Server, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. You will contribute to our CMS product and modules and assist with LRS Corporate websites.

Your role involves integrating customer content with professional graphics and custom-built applications. Providing excellent customer service and maintaining communication with clients and team members is crucial.

You will collaborate with developers, designers, salespeople, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.

Your performance objectives include creating error-free, robust, and user-friendly web applications that are fast-loading, easy to navigate, cross-browser compatible, and aesthetically pleasing. You will respond to client requests and complaints in a friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable manner, and work cooperatively with the team, sharing information proactively to produce excellent products and services.

This position is a 1-year assignment with a potential for permanent employment. You will be based at our corporate headquarters in Springfield, Illinois.  At each of our LRS offices, we have a casual dress environment that our employees enjoy, and we offer a hybrid, two days a week work from home option as well.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience developing web-based solutions using Microsoft Technologies.
  • Strong database design and object-oriented programming skills.
  • Experience building web applications using ASP.NET.
  • Full stack development skills with HTML and CSS.
  • Experience with Agile development methodology and Azure DevOps.
  • VB.NET experience, Entity Framework, and Dependency Injection are a plus.
  • Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • You must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer without sponsorship. (There are no visa sponsorships available for this position).

Organization Structure and Interfaces:

The LRS Web Solutions group consists of Account Representatives, Graphic Designers, Front End Web Developers, Web Application Developers, Project Managers, Network Consultants, a User Experience Specialist, an Administrative Assistant, and Manager.  The team is based in Springfield, Illinois but serves clients nationwide.  You will report to the Manager of Web Services.

Salary range: $90,000-$110,000 annually plus paid overtime and full benefits. This range represents the low and high for this position. The salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, experience and performance.
