Job Description

The Security Engineer will:
- Implement and maintain secure password policies and strategies.
- Manage password storage, reset processes, and user access controls.
- Ensure timely deployment of patches and updates for Windows servers.
- Monitor, test, and troubleshoot patches in alignment with industry best practices.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and risk analysis for Windows systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities.
- Administer and manage security features within Azure and Intune environments.
- Ensure secure configuration and compliance of Azure AD resources.
- Configure, deploy, and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to support security policies across the organization’s Active Directory environment.
- Develop and optimize PowerShell scripts for automating tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in IT security engineering
- Strong experience with Windows Server and virtualized (e.g., VMWare) management and maintenance.
- Strong experience with password, patch, and vulnerability management processes. Including hands-on experience with enterprise vulnerability management tools.
- Experience with Active Directory, including Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
- Basic to intermediate capability in PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with Azure preferred, with Intune experience a plus.
- Keen interest in staying updated on security trends and best practices.
- Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)
- Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer
