LRS Consulting Services is seeking an Sr. Salesforce Developer for a client in Topeka, KS. This is a contract position. Job Duties:
  • Develop and maintain custom applications on the Salesforce.
  • Work collaboratively with technical teams to collect and document requirements for Salesforce solutions.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues related to Salesforce integrations and applications.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure that the best practices for the existing and new Salesforce solutions are implemented.
  • Stay updated with new Salesforce features & functionalities and recommend best practices to enhance the existing Salesforce implementations.
  • Identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering, and defining scope and objectives for the IT System.
  • Developing programming specifications, diagrams, and flowcharts.
  • Writing code in lower-level programming languages to optimize the performance and efficiency of an organization’s IT platform/infrastructure.
  • Configuring, customizing, diagnosing, and enhancing vendor systems software (e.g., operating systems software and utilities that manage access to peripherals, facilitate networking, manage memory allocation, manage file storage on hard drives, etc.).
  • Writing diagnostic programs to test integrated software/hardware systems and resolve system faults.
  • Creating functional and technical documentation of systems software programs and code.

Skills Required:

  • Familiarity with the phases of the SDLC, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in version control systems such as Git.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with proficiency in coding, testing, and debugging application programs.
  • Minimum 6-12 months of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator with a strong understanding of Salesforce concepts
  • Experience in integrating security measures into software development processes.

Hourly rate between $20 - $125 per hour
