The Azure Engineer will:

• Manage the administration, configuration, and optimization of the organization’s Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Entra ID (Azure AD), Office 365/Microsoft 365, and related cloud services.
• Oversee identity and access management (IAM), role-based access control (RBAC), and security policies.
• Maintain high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and performance tuning across cloud services.
• Monitor and remediate security vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Support and resolve escalated cloud-related service tickets, acting as a subject matter expert.
• Collaborate with internal teams on cloud strategy, potential future automation, and modernization initiatives.
• Document configurations, procedures, and best practices for cloud services.
• Research, evaluate, and build out new Azure capabilities, such as IaaS, PaaS, &/or IaC for future improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure, with 3+ years focused on cloud administration (esp., Azure)
• Expertise with Office 365/Microsoft 365 administration.
• Expertise with most/all of the following: Entra ID (Azure AD), IAM/RBAC, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and security best practices.
• Familiarity with IaaS, PaaS, &/or IaC strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Azure networking (VNETs, NSGs, VPNs, network peering).
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
• Experience with cloud monitoring, logging, and governance tools.
• AZ-900 and AZ-104 certifications preferred.
• Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal).
• Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer.

Hourly rate between $20 - $125 per hour

Colorado Pay Range:
20.00 - 125.00/per Hour
