Fulcrum Consulting, an LRS company is seeking a Senior Operations Engineer for a position with our client in Minneapolis, MN.

Summary:  A professional with strong expertise in storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, and cloud storage environments (Pure Storage, AWS, NetApp). Proven experience in administration, configuration, and performance monitoring, along with a solid understanding of ITIL frameworks. Skilled in troubleshooting, data migration, and optimizing storage resources.

Mandatory Skills:

• SAN Administration & Zoning
• Expertise in managing PURE Storage
• Proficiency with AWS Storage Services (S3, FSxN, EFS, EBS)
• Basic experience with Windows & Linux systems
• Experience in storage platform administration (NetApp, ECS)

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to Terraform, Python, or Ansible
• Experience with Bitbucket & Jenkins CI/CD
• ITIL framework knowledge (Change, Incident, Problem Management)
• Monitoring tools & techniques for problem determination
• Strong teamwork & communication skills

Detailed Qualifications:

• Expertise in PURE Storage & NetApp: configuration, maintenance, ONTAP GUI/CLI, backups, file system management
• Cloud Storage proficiency
• Experience with Brocade/Connectrix Switches
• Performance analysis for Pure Storage Arrays
• Fabric Environment configuration & troubleshooting (Brocade, Connectrix, Cisco)
• 3-5 years of experience in storage infrastructure, especially Pure Storage & AWS

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute data migration & backup strategies (NetApp and AWS)
• Respond to incidents and resolve technical issues promptly
• Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps
• Implement SAN, NAS, and cloud storage systems
• Collaborate on bridge calls for incident resolution
• Monitor and optimize storage performance & capacity
• Troubleshoot storage issues and perform root cause analysis
• Contribute to process improvements and best practices
• Develop data backup and disaster recovery plans
• Provide input for operational reporting (health checks, capacity, performance)

Continuous Improvement:

• Collaborate with teams to assess and adjust application monitoring requirements
• Assist in identifying corrective actions to improve performance and efficiency.
