Job Description
Fulcrum Consulting, an LRS company is seeking a meticulous and detail oriented IS Asset Management and Endpoint Support Technician to join our team. This pivotal role involves managing the entire life cycle of the organization's assets. The selected candidate will track, store, distribute, and document all company equipment, inventory, and supplies.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, a proactive attitude, and a strong commitment to maintaining accurate records. They will play a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency by streamlining processes related to asset management. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is dedicated to upholding the integrity of our inventory systems.
The position is to create redundancy for our current staff who will lead this position.
This person needs to have level 2 technical skills. They will also be responsible for provisioning and installing software for hardware that needs to be shipped.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic and Troubleshooting: Accurately diagnose and resolve a variety of hardware, software, and network-related issues for personal computers and approved endpoint systems. This includes both on-site and remote troubleshooting to maximize efficiency.
- Installation and Configuration: Responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and some Linux applications, along with related peripheral devices.
- Receive, store, and issue equipment, tools, and supplies securely and organized.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking and updating information in the asset management system.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure proper stock levels and identify discrepancies.
- Process and fulfill equipment requests from internal departments, ensuring timely delivery.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for asset procurement and returns as needed.
- Prepare and update detailed reports on inventory status, asset usage, and stock levels.
- Inspect incoming shipments to verify quantity, quality, and accuracy against purchase orders.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse space for optimal efficiency and accessibility.
- Assist with the disposal or decommissioning of outdated or unused assets to comply with company policy.
- Collaborate with other departments to address asset-related inquiries and support operational needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or a related role.
- Familiarity with asset management systems and inventory software such as SPA, Oracle, Neurons, or similar programs.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Basic understanding of the procurement process and vendor coordination.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy items as required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Passionate and has strong interpersonal skills for working effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail allow for independent work and thorough issue resolution.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with technical and non-technical users, facilitating precise and practical interactions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in inventory management and asset handling.
- Experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Proficient with barcode scanners and RFID tracking systems.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and warehouse best practices.

Hourly rate between $20 - $125 per hour
