Job Description
We have an urgent requirement for a Senior Lead Business Analyst with strong expertise in client reporting projects to support a large-scale client reporting consolidation initiative. This role requires a hands-on senior BA who can also lead a small team of Business Analysts and potentially step into a QA Lead capacity during the testing phase. The ideal candidate is based in Minneapolis and able to work in a hybrid on-site model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end business analysis for a large client reporting consolidation project.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Manage and mentor a small team of Business Analysts assigned to the project.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, define business and functional requirements.
- Analyze and document current and future state workflows, processes, and reporting structures.
- Ensure alignment of reporting deliverables with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with Project Managers, QA, and Development teams throughout the SDLC.
- Take on a QA Lead-type role during the testing phase, overseeing test case creation, execution, and defect management.
- Support UAT coordination and ensure stakeholder sign-offs.
- Provide regular status updates and escalate risks or issues as needed.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3+ years in a lead or senior capacity.
- Proven experience on complex client reporting or reporting platform projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Familiarity with QA/test processes, with a willingness to act as QA Lead during testing.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in financial services or a related industry is highly desirable.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid on-site environment in Minneapolis (preferred).
The base hourly range for this contract position is $60-$90 per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
