LRS Consulting Services is seeking an Automation developer (SDET) for a role with a client of ours based in St. Louis.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Junit and Cucumber (BDD) tests for web application testing.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to create automated tests for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases to ensure software meets business requirements and quality standards.
• Utilize Java and JavaScript for creating automation test frameworks and scripts.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Continuously improve the test suite by implementing best practices and optimizing test performance.
• Ensure proper integration of the test automation suite with the CI/CD pipeline.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience with test automation such as Selenium and Playwright.
• Programming experience with Java, JavaScript or Python
• Experience writing and executing SQL queries for data validation
• Understanding of testing methodologies and Agile/Scrum practices
• Experience with test automation frameworks, Version control tools and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or similar.
• UI experience highly preferred -Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)

The base range for this contract position is $20.00 - $125.00 per hour, depending on experience; pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
