Job Description
Fulcrum Consulting, an LRS company, is seeking a Senior Risk Consultant with our client in Raliegh, NC. We are seeking a Senior Risk Consultant to support a critical engagement with our financial services client. This role focuses on traceability analysis between the work completed and the recommendations provided by an external advisory firm, ensuring that all activities adequately address Heightened Standards and risk management expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive traceability mapping between external firm recommendations and internal deliverables or remediation activities.
- Evaluate and ensure alignment of work completed with Heightened Standards and regulatory expectations.
- Support documentation and tracking of all risk management efforts tied to these standards.
- Identify gaps or areas where current work may not fully meet outlined recommendations, and escalate as needed.
- Collaborate with internal risk teams, compliance, and business units to validate findings and drive accountability.
- Prepare reports and executive-level summaries to communicate traceability findings and recommendations.Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Proven experience in risk management within the financial services sector.
- Strong familiarity with Heightened Standards (e.g., OCC guidelines and expectations).
- Experience working with or interpreting external risk assessments or advisory firm recommendations.
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and interface with senior stakeholders in a highly regulated environment.
- 7+ years of experience in risk consulting, regulatory compliance, or related fields.
- Prior experience supporting regulatory remediation or traceability projects is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business, or related discipline (advanced degree or certifications like CRCM, FRM, or CAMS a plus).
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations.
