Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a Programmer Analyst/Data Warehouse Business Analyst for a contract opportunity. This role offers the chance to apply your skills in support of meaningful work for one of our client partners.

Our client is seeking an experienced Programmer Analyst – Data Warehouse Business Analyst to support enterprise data initiatives. This role combines advanced SQL skills with business analysis expertise to help design, enhance, and support data warehouse solutions. You will collaborate with teams across the organization in an Agile environment to deliver accurate, meaningful data that supports decision‑making and statewide reporting requirements.

  • 5+ years of SQL experience
  • 5+ years as a Business Analyst (BA)
  • 5+ years working within Agile methodologies

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into clear data and reporting specifications.
  • Work closely with data warehouse teams to design, enhance, and validate data solutions.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for data validation, analysis, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional partners, including developers, testers, and data architects.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
  • Support ongoing data integrity, data governance, and quality initiatives.
  • Prepare documentation and communicate complex concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
The base range for this contract position is $50.00 - $75.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
