Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a Communications Project Manager 14 week contract opportunity. This role offers the chance to apply your skills in support of meaningful work for one of our client partners.

Our client is seeking a Communications Project Manager. This role focuses on project coordination, team leadership, scheduling, and communication support across institutional and leadership social media channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day‑to‑day management and coordination for a two‑person social media team.
  • Organize, prioritize, and plan weekly work, upcoming projects, and daily content needs.
  • Lead project coordination efforts, including task management, scope definition, timelines, and workflow tracking.
  • Serve as the social media point of contact in editorial, planning, and scoping meetings.
  • Communicate updates, assignments, and priorities between stakeholders and the social media team.
  • Support communications and social media strategy work as aligned with experience and skillset.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong communication and leadership skills, including 2+ years of experience supervising or managing full‑time staff.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • 2+ years of experience setting project goals, defining scope, building timelines, and reporting on status/workload.
  • 2+ years of experience using Asana or a similar project management platform.



The base range for this contract position is $50.00 - $70.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
