Job Description
Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a Business Process Reengineer for a contract opportunity. This role offers the chance to apply your skills in support of meaningful work for one of our client partners.
This position serves as a strategic liaison among OES, regional field consultants, internal cross‑office teams (including OSET), DTMB, and vendor partners. The role includes business process analysis, requirements gathering, documentation, and coordination across multiple functional groups.
Key Responsibilities
Process Analysis & Improvement
- Review, document, and map current grant‑related processes and workflows.
- Identify process efficiencies and propose improvements.
- Analyze policy changes and recommend updates to application workflows and functionality.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
- Facilitate meetings with business teams, technical teams, and external partners.
- Serve as the main point of contact for field consultants regarding application inquiries.
- Communicate status updates, issue resolutions, and project information clearly and promptly.
Operational & Technical Liaison
- Manage and prioritize operational support requests and enhancement items in Azure DevOps.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.
- Support coordination between OES, OSET, DTMB, and vendor teams.
Leadership & Team Coordination
- Lead and mentor business analysts as needed.
- Delegate responsibilities and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Facilitate requirements‑gathering sessions and support cross‑functional collaboration.
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation in SharePoint.
- Ensure decisions, process changes, and requirements are clearly captured and accessible.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience as a Business Process Reengineer.
- 2+ years working with grant management systems or government‑funded programs.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience gathering and documenting business feedback and process updates.
- Experience supporting complex IT web applications within the past 5 years.
- Ability to lead meetings, facilitate training or information sessions, and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- Experience serving as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience working with multiple internal and external teams to support project needs.
- Experience with Azure DevOps (creating user stories, queries) – 1+ year.
- Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint – 1+ year.
The base range for this contract position is $60.00 - $80.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
