Codeworks, an LRS company, is excited to welcome applications for a Certified Project Manager for a contract position. This opportunity gives you the chance to bring your expertise to impactful, high‑visibility initiatives while partnering with one of our valued client organizations.

Our client is seeking a collaborative, adaptable, and proactive Project Manager III to lead business intelligence, software development, and modernization projects. This includes initiatives ranging from smaller enhancement efforts to large, multi‑team technical projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end project management for enterprise‑level business intelligence, software/application development, and systems architecture initiatives
  • Partner with sponsors and IT leadership to define and prioritize project tasks
  • Support analysis of business objectives, evaluate solution alternatives, and contribute to feasibility assessments and cost/benefit analyses
  • Facilitate project organization, roles, responsibilities, schedules, budgets, and risk management
  • Provide oversight of project documentation, including charters, plans, deliverables, and metrics
  • Develop and maintain standards and processes for documentation, tools, and data quality metrics
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies and develop business cases for potential adoption
  • Participate in cross‑functional initiatives and special projects as assigned
  • Apply excellent communication skills to support clear engagement with technical teams, business partners, and leadership

Experience & Qualifications

  • 12+ years in project management, including experience leading complex technical projects
  • Experience in change management
  • In‑depth knowledge of system development lifecycle (SDLC) deliverables
  • Experience facilitating collaboration across teams and organizations
  • Strong technical writing and documentation background
  • Analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with MS Office tools, including Excel, Outlook, and MS Project
  • Experience leading implementation of large, complex processes or models
  • Experience with testing processes, including UAT, system, and functional testing
  • Experience working with data analysis, Informatica, and data warehouse design
  • Experience gathering and defining requirements
  • Experience in scope and risk management
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Business Objects)
  • Ability to support customers by understanding needs and identifying solutions
The base range for this contract position is $45.00-$55.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
