Database Design and Administration Springfield,  IL | Full-time LRS is seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise analytical data models used to build BI dashboards. This role works with the entire semantic model lifecycle, from understanding business requirements to shaping source data, designing dimensional models, and writing high-quality DAX measures. The ideal candidate is comfortable collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver efficient and reusable data models.?This position is based at our headquarters in Springfield, IL and is an in-office position?(No remote availability).?Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the data team to clean, shape, and validate source dataDesign, develop, and maintain enterprise Power BI semantic data modelsDevelop measures and visual calculations using DAXOptimize model performanceCollaborate with business groups and translate business needs into analytical data?Requirements4+ years of experience developing Power BI semantic data modelsExperience with dimensional data modeling (star/snowflake schemas)Proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQLExperience with DAX and Power QueryExperience with Power BI dataflowsFamiliarity with row-level security (RLS)Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills?The following will make you a stronger candidateExperience working with data warehousesFamiliarity with Microsoft Fabric?Success KeysThe successful candidate will demonstrate skills using Power BI in an enterprise, delivering reliable, high-quality data models that drive actionable insights. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, design optimal semantic data models, and validate correctness of data.?Organization StructureThe LRS IT team consists of a Chief Information Officer, Director of IT, Director of Applications, Director of Information Security, and teams for networking, infrastructure, cloud, communications, end-user services, and applications. The team is based in Springfield, IL and manages the global operations at LRS. You will report to the Chief Information Officer.?Salary Range$90,000?$120,000 annually plus paid overtime and full benefits. This range represents the low and high for this position. The salary will vary depending on factors including experience and skills.
