Evaluate technologies, improve performance/stability/cost, guide small teams and vendors, and provide Tier‑3 support. On‑call and periodic weekend work required; access to FTI.
Key Responsibilities

- Serve as a technical lead for backend infrastructure services (e.g., Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory/AD FS, Group Policy, DFS, DHCP, DNS; Azure subscriptions; networking protocols and services).
- Provide Tier‑3 support for VDI (Omnissa Horizon), monitoring tools, multi‑factor authentication, storage/backup, PowerShell scripting, and COTS applications deployed at DCF.
- Lead and contribute to design, deployment, and troubleshooting of virtual desktop and virtualization environments (Omnissa Horizon, vSphere).
Project Delivery & Governance
- Lead or co‑lead projects, applying Agile, traditional, or hybrid methodologies to achieve scope, schedule, quality, and budget targets.
- Coordinate work across cross‑functional teams, external partners (e.g., DOA) and vendors; set clear goals, manage risks, and track progress.
- Prepare detailed specifications and infrastructure documentation, support change, configuration, and release management.
Operations & Continuous Improvement
- Oversee on‑call rotations and operational support activities; ensure timely response and resolution.
- Implement best practices for certificate services, identity, and access management; create and maintain certificates for core systems and 3rd‑party integrations.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and drive a solutions‑oriented approach; maintain consistent hands‑on involvement to ensure successful outcomes.
Collaboration & Communication
- Provide clear, timely status updates to management and stakeholders; participate in collaboration meetings and reviews.
- Foster a supportive team environment built on trust, constructive feedback, and shared accountability.
