As a Business Analyst, you will be expected to: Be a customer facing member of the Product Support team and primary support contact for customers assigned to you by your Team Lead. Gain a thorough understanding of the PensionGold software and how our customers utilize the software for pension administration. Gain a thorough understanding of your customers’ business practices to effectively document, analyze and resolve reported software issues and/or defects Translate your customers’ new business needs into requirements which can be understood by developers and other product support staff. Develop detailed design documents outlining required product enhancements and/or changes to meet customer requirements or resolve product defects. Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration between the business processes and the product’s user interface. Test software changes and validate the changes meet the customer’s business requirements. Manage your customers’ problem incident reports, product support requests and software. Learn how to use our business process modeler tool to read and understand PensionGold business processes to assist in troubleshooting or researching product support requests. This position allows for the flexibility to work remotely as home-based employee or from any of our LRS North American locations. Additionally, we offer flexible work schedules and casual dress work environment. This position may require occasional travel to customer sites which are located nationwide. The travel will consist of short stays at a customer site during the week. The travel does not include extended or long-term trips. Performance Objectives: Within your first month you will learn, at a high level, the PensionGold software functionality. Within the first two months you will be able to read and utilize problem incident reports. Within the first three months learn a high-level understanding of the PensionGold database model and be able to effectively access data using SQL Within the first 4-5 months your team lead will assign a primary customer to you. You will gain familiarity with the customer’s customization of the PensionGold software and demonstrate your ability to analyze new software problems reported by the customer. Applicant Requirements: You must have three years of experience performing analysis and design as part of an application development project or product development team. You must have three years of experience working directly with customers in resolving complex problems and identifying solutions. You must understand database structures and experience writing moderate SQL queries. You must have experience using technology tools including, but not limited to Microsoft Team Foundation Server or similar source code management software, SSMS or similar query language application. You must have prior experience with software development and/or configuration. You must be able to effectively communicate in English (written and verbal). You must have strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members. Our EOM software products manage the secure delivery of output to printers, mobile devices, online document repositories, e-mail systems, web pages, spreadsheets, etc. You will provide technical sales assistance to the EOM sales team in proposing EOM solutions to customers and potential customers. You will be a member of the ESE team and support the sales process throughout the Central Sales territory by attending meetings with prospective customers to identify their technical requirements; provide them with technical product explanations; and provide guidance on how to implement the products successfully in the customer’s specific environment. You will provide proof-of-concept installation services for products at customer sites, as well as post sales implementation services after the customer purchases our software. You will be based in the LRS Springfield, IL office. Outside of COVID times, you can expect to travel during the work week up to 50 percent at peak times within the Central region based on the account executives you are supporting. The compensation consists of base salary and a bonus plan based on regional revenue attainment. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation. Candidate Requirements: Two years of experience in either (1) systems administration/technical support or related experience working with multiple distributed systems/Windows platforms for organizations of at least 1,000 employees or customers of similar size or (2) Two years of college coursework in Computer Science or related field.
