Job Description

LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Data Analyst for a Contract-to-Hire opportunity. This role offers the chance to apply your skills in support of meaningful work for one of our client partners.

LRS Consulting Services has been delivering the highest quality consultants to our clients since 1979. We've built a solid reputation for dealing with our clients and our consultants with honesty, integrity, and respect. We work hard every day to maintain that reputation.

The Data Analyst plays a key role in ensuring that client data is correctly analyzed, validated, and integrated throughout the implementation lifecycle. Working closely with Data Solutions Architects, Technical Analysts, and engineering teams, you will analyze carrier data structures, identify data quality issues, and validate that integrated systems correctly exchange and process policy, customer, and distribution data. This role requires someone comfortable working with large datasets, complex system integrations, and enterprise implementation environments, particularly within insurance carrier technology ecosystems.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Profiling

  • Analyze data structures from policy administration systems, agent management platforms, CRM systems, and other enterprise systems.
  • Perform data profiling to understand data quality, completeness, and system dependencies.
  • Identify anomalies, inconsistencies, or gaps that could impact system integrations or migrations.
  • Identify reporting and analytics requirements early in the project lifecycle to ensure implementation data structures support future operational and analytical needs.

Data Validation & Reconciliation

  • Validate data exchanged between carrier systems and our client’s platform.
  • Support reconciliation of policy, customer, and distribution data across multiple systems.
  • Investigate discrepancies and work with delivery teams to resolve data-related issues.

Implementation Data Support

  • Support delivery teams during system implementation by analyzing data flows and verifying integration outputs.
  • Assist in validating data transformations, mapping logic, and system outputs during implementation phases.
  • Help identify and mitigate risks related to data integrity during implementation.

Data Migration Validation

  • Support data migration efforts by validating data extracted from legacy systems.
  • Analyze transformation outputs and verify that migrated data meets expected quality and completeness standards.
  • Assist with reconciliation activities to confirm successful migration outcomes.

Reporting & Operational Insights

  • Develop reports and dashboards that provide visibility into implementation progress, data quality, and system performance.
  • Support delivery and client teams by producing data insights related to implementation metrics.

Collaboration Across Implementation Teams

  • Work closely with: Data Solutions Architects, Technical Analysts, Integration Engineers and Client data teams
  • Support discussions with stakeholders to clarify data definitions, ownership, and usage across systems.

Documentation

  • Document data analysis findings, transformation rules, and validation processes.
  • Contribute to implementation documentation related to data structures, mappings, and validation procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in data analysis, implementation support, or enterprise data environments
  • Experience working with enterprise system data or SaaS platform implementations
  • Experience/familiarity with insurance carrier data domains, including policy data, customer data, agent/distribution data and financial transactions
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and analyzing large datasets
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel or data analysis tools
  • Experience analyzing complex relational data models
  • Familiarity with API data structures (JSON/XML)
  • Experience with data visualization or reporting tools is a plus
  • Experience working with policy administration or insurance platform systems is highly desirable
  • Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)
