Job Description
Codeworks, a LRS company, is looking for a Business Analyst for a Contract opportunity. Apply your skills in support of meaningful work for one of our key client partners.
Supports the development of clear, structured, and AI‑ready People content across the organization. In this role, you will lead discovery activities, assess current‑state content, and design information architecture, taxonomy, and content models that improve findability, clarity, and reuse. You will collaborate with partners across People, Digital Experience, Data, and Architecture teams to align content structures with platform capabilities and governance standards. This position plays a key role in shaping how People content is organized, labeled, and connected across systems, ensuring it is accessible, consistent, and optimized for search and AI‑enabled tools. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in information architecture, taxonomy design, semantic modeling, and enterprise content ecosystems to help advance the organization’s AI‑readiness and content maturity.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute discovery activities to understand content structures, information hierarchies, metadata models, and semantic relationships across People platforms.
- Conduct information architecture assessments, including audits of navigation models, content groupings, labeling, and cross‑platform consistency.
- Inventory and evaluate taxonomies, controlled vocabularies, and tagging approaches, identifying gaps, redundancies, and areas misaligned with user needs.
- Analyze content relationships and dependencies (e.g., policies → procedures → FAQs → tasks) to support development of future‑state ontologies and knowledge graph readiness.
- Identify high‑demand content, duplication, outdated materials, and usability challenges through search logs, support cases, and behavioral data.
- Document privacy, security, and regulatory considerations that impact content structure, access, and AI usage.
- Translate findings into clear IA artifacts such as content maps, taxonomy models, hierarchy diagrams, and gap analyses.
- Provide structured inputs that inform Define‑phase decisions and roadmap development.
