Overview
We are seeking a Data Engineer with experience in Alteryx to support the setup of a new data analytics environment. This role will focus on building and optimizing data workflows while enhancing reporting capabilities within a Microsoft-based ecosystem.

This is an opportunity to help shape a scalable analytics framework and introduce advanced data processing and automation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data workflows using Alteryx to support analytics and reporting needs
• Assist in setting up and optimizing a new data environment
• Integrate Alteryx with existing Microsoft tools including Power BI, SQL Server, and Excel
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to support reporting and analytics initiatives
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across reporting platforms
• Support enhancements to reporting capabilities through automation and advanced analytics

Required Qualifications

• Experience working as a Data Engineer or similar role
• Hands-on experience with Alteryx for data preparation and workflow automation
• Strong experience in Microsoft-based environments
• Proficiency with SQL for data querying and transformation
• Experience working with Power BI and/or Excel for reporting and analysis
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders

Additional Qualifications
Stronger candidates will have one or more of the following:

• Experience setting up or modernizing data environments
• Experience integrating multiple data sources into a unified reporting solution
• Exposure to data modeling and data warehousing concepts
• Experience improving or automating reporting processes

The base range for this contract position is $50 - $70 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
