Job Description

We’re looking for a Cybersecurity Incident Response Lead on remote assignment to handle high-impact security incidents in a large enterprise environment within the financial services sector. This role is hands-on and requires independent decision-making during active incidents, including actions that may disrupt business operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead response to cybersecurity incidents in an enterprise environment
  • Make real-time decisions on containment actions, including system or network shutdowns
  • Investigate and respond to alerts across endpoint, identity, network, and cloud security tools
  • Use CrowdStrike Falcon Platform for endpoint detection, investigation, and response
  • Leverage CrowdStrike Next-Gen SIEM for event correlation and incident analysis
  • Query and analyze log data using CrowdStrike LogScale
  • Coordinate with internal teams during active incidents to drive containment and remediation
  • Document incidents, actions taken, and outcomes
  • Participate in on-call rotation as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience in cybersecurity incident response, with a focus on CrowdStrike platforms
  • Experience leading substantive cybersecurity incident responses in a large enterprise environment
  • Proven ability to independently make high-impact decisions during active security incidents
  • Strong hands-on expertise with the CrowdStrike Falcon Platform
  • Experience with CrowdStrike Next-Gen SIEM or comparable SIEM platforms
  • Experience performing investigations across multiple security domains (endpoint, identity, network, cloud)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills under pressure
  • Clear communication during high-severity incidents

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with CrowdStrike LogScale
  • Exposure to Wiz

The base range for this contract position is $60.00 - $120.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Colorado Pay Range:
60.00 - 120.00/per Hour
