Job Description

Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a Jave Developer for a contract opportunity. This role offers the chance to apply your skills in support of meaningful work for one of our client partners.

Our client is looking for a Java Developer  to support the analysis, design, development, modernization, and ongoing support.. This role involves hands‑on technical contribution and collaboration within a project team focused on delivering reliable and maintainable software solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the analysis, technical design, development, modernization, and support of applications
  • Contribute to application architecture and design decisions in collaboration with team members
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain Java‑based applications using modern frameworks and best practices
  • Support batch processing and system integrations as needed
  • Collaborate with technical and business partners to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions
  • Follow established development standards, documentation practices, and change management processes
  • Experience developing applications using Java
  • Experience working with Spring Boot or similar frameworks 
  • Experience contributing to application architecture and technical design in complex systems
The base range for this contract position is $50.00 - $60.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
