Job Description

Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a seeking an experienced IT / Data Architecture Specialist to support enterprise systems through data architecture, modeling, and systems integration initiatives. This hybrid contract role works collaboratively across technical and business teams to design secure, scalable, and well‑integrated solutions that support organizational data needs and technology objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and integrate system data models and designs to support data sharing, reduce redundancy, and promote effective and efficient use of organizational data resources.
  • Collaborate with project leadership by providing technical input to support project planning and delivery.
  • Partner with data stewards to help develop, communicate, and apply data classification policies and standards.
  • Create and maintain a metadata repository, including clear documentation of data definitions, structures, and data flow diagrams.
  • Create, maintain, and validate system-level designs.
  • Establish and apply data standards, procedures, and guidelines to support data integrity, reliability, quality, and usability using appropriate security and data management practices.
  • Develop an information architecture model aligned with enterprise information management principles.
  • Develop and maintain shared data models to support integrated data use across applications.
  • Develop, document, and manage configuration management standards, processes, and policies.
  • Document application-level controls required to meet security and compliance standards.
Skills:
  • Experience administering and supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
  • Experience working with Windows Server in enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, including querying and foundational database support.
  • Experience designing and supporting native and hybrid cloud environments across platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and updating system and technical documentation.
  • Experience in network administration, including foundational troubleshooting and support.
  • Experience architecting and supporting container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and/or OpenShift.
  • Ability to create and maintain architecture artifacts using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, and/or Draw.io.
  • Familiarity with application architecture concepts, including application servers such as WebLogic, WebSphere, or JBoss.
  • Experience designing scalable and resilient database deployments for Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Hands-on experience securing network infrastructure, web applications, and databases.
  • Working knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language such as C#, Java, Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
The base range for this contract position is $75.00 - $85.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
