Job Description

Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a Senior Manager, Environmental Health & Safety for a Permanent Opportunity. This role will  lead environmental, health, and safety programs at an enterprise level. This role focuses on supporting compliance with applicable regulations while promoting safe and sustainable operations across all facilities.

The position partners with cross-functional teams to advance environmental stewardship, workplace safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a multi-year EHS strategy aligned with organizational goals
  • Support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations
  • Promote a workplace culture centered on safety, health, and well-being
  • Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve sustainability practices, including recycling and supplier collaboration
  • Oversee environmental and safety compliance programs, including training, inspections, reporting, and recordkeeping
  • Review projects for environmental permitting requirements and coordinate permit applications with relevant stakeholders
  • Manage environmental permitting processes and monitor program effectiveness
  • Stay informed of regulatory updates and support updates to policies and procedures as needed
  • Serve as a point of contact for environmental, health, and safety matters, including communication with regulatory agencies
  • Coordinate response efforts for EHS-related incidents or concerns
  • Support the development and oversight of environmental performance programs and contracts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 7–10+ years of experience in environmental, health, and safety or a related field, including leadership experience
  • Knowledge of applicable environmental and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA, DOT, state and local requirements)
  • Experience managing projects and leading cross-functional initiatives
  • Ability to assess situations, identify solutions, and make informed decisions
  • Experience with ergonomic assessments and related analysis tools is a plus
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills

 

The base range for this position salary $138,000.00 -$160,000.00  depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
