Job Description
Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a Network Engineer who is experienced technical professional responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and maintaining complex network infrastructure for a contract position. The role requires strong expertise in networking technologies and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and secure network solutions.
This position may also involve providing technical guidance, sharing knowledge, and supporting the professional development of other team members.
This position is 100% remote, but the applicant must live in Wisconsin
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructure.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve network performance and connectivity issues.
- Support and optimize LAN, WAN, wireless, remote access, and firewall environments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver networking projects and improvements.
- Contribute to network security, monitoring, and operational best practices.
- Share technical expertise and provide guidance to colleagues as needed
5+ years of experience in the following areas:
- Advanced bridging and routing integration technologies
- Troubleshooting and supporting LAN, WAN, and wireless network environments
- Firewall administration, access control lists (ACLs), business-to-business connectivity, and remote access solutions
- Network architecture and design
The base range for this contract position is $45.00 - $55.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
