Job Description

Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking a Senior Communications & Change Management Consultant for a contract position. This person will play a critical role in helping employees and leaders navigate organizational and operational change. This position is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that support enterprise and campus initiatives, foster employee understanding and engagement, and strengthen organizational readiness for change.

Working closely with leaders, stakeholders, project teams, and change management partners, this role creates clear, accessible, and impactful communications while providing guidance on communication planning, stakeholder engagement, and change readiness across a diverse portfolio of initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a strategic communicator, trusted advisor, and collaborative partner who can translate complex information into meaningful messages that connect with employees and support business objectives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement communication plans and roadmaps aligned with organizational initiatives and project timelines.
  • Create and distribute communications across multiple channels, including email, intranet, presentations, and leadership messaging, ensuring content is clear, consistent, and aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Design and implement communication tools, resources, and plans that help employees and leaders navigate changes affecting the campus experience.
  • Translate complex operational, planning, and change-related information into accessible communications that support understanding and preparedness.
  • Plan and manage divisional communications through centralized communication channels to keep employees informed of operational updates.
  • Own and manage SharePoint and intranet content strategies, governance, and information architecture, ensuring resources, FAQs, toolkits, and project materials remain current, accessible, and easy to navigate.
  • Develop frameworks that build communication and change management capabilities across leaders and stakeholders through practical tools, guidance, and support.
  • Ensure communications are inclusive, employee-centered, and reflective of diverse audience needs and experiences.
  • Develop leader-facing resources, including talking points, FAQs, facilitation guides, communication toolkits, and playbooks.
  • Partner with leaders and stakeholders to provide guidance on communication approaches, timing, stakeholder engagement, and change impacts across complex initiatives.
  • Support leaders in communicating and reinforcing changes within their teams through clear messaging and engagement opportunities.
  • Plan and facilitate department meetings, forums, and organizational events that promote alignment, transparency, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
  • Build strong partnerships across functions to ensure consistent and coordinated communication efforts


The base range for this contract position is $25.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
