LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Quadient Inspire Developer for a Contract-to-Hire opportunity. This role offers the chance to apply your skills in support of meaningful work for one of our client partners.

Job Description Summary

Seeking a Quadient Inspire Developer to design, develop, support, and enhance customer communication solutions. This role requires strong hands-on experience with the Quadient Inspire platform and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively on new development projects, existing workflow enhancements, and production support. Quadient Inspire expertise is the most critical qualification for this position. The ideal candidate is self-directed, intellectually curious, and capable of translating business requirements into reliable, scalable communication solutions while effectively partnering with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Brings at least five years of hands-on Quadient Inspire development experience and can independently design, develop, support, and troubleshoot customer communication solutions. Demonstrated experience with document composition, workflow development, business rules, scripting, data transformation, and multi-channel output generation. Comfortable working with XML, JSON, fixed-length, and delimited data sources and translating business requirements into scalable communication solutions. Capable of analyzing and improving existing workflows, including complex legacy solutions that may require significant troubleshooting and reverse engineering.
  • Possesses a natural ability to educate and guide others, with a talent for explaining complex concepts in ways that others can easily understand. Adapts communication style to the audience, whether helping business partners understand technical solutions or collaborating with technical peers on detailed design, architecture, and implementation discussions.
  • Demonstrates strong intellectual curiosity and a continuous learning mindset. Takes initiative to understand adjacent systems, processes, and technologies, seeking to learn what they do, how they work, and why they are important. Uses this broader understanding to collaborate more effectively, identify opportunities for improvement, and make better technical decisions.
  • Comfortable working in an environment that includes both long-term strategic solutions and deadline-driven ad hoc requests.  Capable of building robust, maintainable workflows when long-term support is required, while also delivering practical one-time-use solutions that meet business objectives without unnecessary complexity or overengineering

Responsibilities

  • Transforming, creating and delivering output to a myriad of production class printers.
  • Influencing and developing our infrastructure, processes and protocols.
  • Designing and optimizing existing workflows to manage print re-engineering workflow solutions that greatly enhance document distribution and management in transactional printing and web presentment environments (PDF and HTML outputs)
  • Create and maintain process related documentation.

Important Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required. We place a higher value on demonstrated Quadient Inspire expertise, practical experience, and a proven ability to deliver results.
  • Print file formats such as PDF, AFP, and PostScript are required.
  • Effective communicator of concepts to technical and non-technical staff.
  • Ability to contribute to the development of solid business/technical proposals.
  • Capacity to effectively handle multiple technical roles in a complex environment.
  • Moderate HTML design is desired.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, organize and plan work to satisfy established timeframes.
  • Understanding of SQL is helpful
  • Programmatic skills such as .NET, JAVA, C# is helpful
  • Knowledge of USPS mailing processes and requirements.

The base range for this contract position is $45.00 - $60.00 per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
