Job Description
LRS is seeking a LifePRO Configuration Specialist to join our client's Insurance Technology team in long term contractual capacity. This role will support the configuration, development, testing, maintenance, and implementation of insurance products within the LifePRO administration platform.
The ideal candidate will possess strong LifePRO configuration experience, including developing and supporting both individual and group product builds. This individual will partner closely with business stakeholders, product managers, operations teams, and technology resources to deliver scalable solutions that support new product introductions, regulatory changes, system enhancements, and operational efficiency initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain LifePRO product setups, business rules, workflows, rating structures, and policy administration functionality.
- Design, build, test, and maintain individual and group insurance products within the LifePRO platform.
- Create and implement new product builds, including product definitions, benefit structures, riders, rating rules, underwriting requirements, eligibility provisions, and policy administration processes.
- Configure group insurance products, including enrollment parameters, coverage options, premium structures, billing requirements, and eligibility rules.
- Configure individual life insurance and annuity products in accordance with approved product specifications and business requirements.
- Support the full product lifecycle, including product launches, enhancements, regulatory updates, and product retirements.
- Collaborate with business users, product managers, and operational teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into system configurations and product solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide resolution for configuration-related defects and system problems.
- Develop and execute test plans for product builds, enhancements, and configuration changes.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing activities.
- Validate system functionality, calculations, workflows, and business rule execution prior to deployment.
- Participate in system implementations, upgrades, conversions, and strategic business initiatives.
- Support release management, deployment planning, and production implementation activities.
- Develop and maintain configuration documentation, process flows, testing results, and support procedures.
- Ensure configurations comply with regulatory, audit, and internal governance requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies within the LifePRO environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience working with the LifePRO insurance administration platform.
- Experience configuring and supporting life insurance, annuity, or group insurance products.
- Demonstrated experience creating, maintaining, and enhancing both individual and group product builds.
- Strong understanding of insurance product structures, policy administration processes, and product implementation methodologies.
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical and configuration solutions.
- Experience supporting testing activities, including unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting life insurance, annuity, disability, voluntary benefits, or group insurance products.
- Experience participating in policy administration system conversions, implementations, or modernization initiatives.
- Knowledge of underwriting, enrollment, billing, claims, and policy administration processes.
- Experience with SQL, reporting tools, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with Agile project methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, or a related field.

Compensation
The base range for this contract position is $30 $50 per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
