Job Description

Codeworks is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a portfolio of technology initiatives focused on enterprise child support systems and related public sector applications. This role will lead and coordinate multiple projects using Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid methodologies while supporting Project Management Office (PMO) functions and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing application development projects for large, complex systems and will be comfortable navigating both project delivery and operational PMO responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate multiple technology projects from initiation through implementation.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, work plans, and resource allocations.
  • Monitor project scope, timelines, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and leadership.
  • Lead project meetings, prepare agendas and meeting minutes, and document action items.
  • Maintain project backlogs and support prioritization activities.
  • Prepare status reports, communications, and project documentation.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution of barriers.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and PMO best practices.
  • Serve as a liaison between business and technical partners to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing large-scale application development or system implementation projects.
  • Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of systems analysis, design, testing, implementation, and support processes.
  • Experience developing project plans, managing resources, and tracking project performance.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and industry best practices.
  • Experience using project management and collaboration tools, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership.

The base range for this contract position is $50.00 - $60.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
