LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Senior Tableau Developer who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful insights, building scalable analytics solutions, and helping organizations make data-driven decisions. This fully remote direct-hire opportunity offers the chance to support enterprise analytics initiatives while partnering with technical and business stakeholders to deliver secure, high-performing, and user-friendly reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, test, and support Tableau analytics solutions using Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Cloud, Tableau Prep, published data sources, and extracts.
• Create executive-level dashboards, governed reporting assets, reusable data sources, and performance-optimized workbooks.
• Translate business, operational, security, and reporting requirements into scalable analytics solutions.
• Develop and maintain permissions models, subscriptions, extracts, and governed analytics practices.
• Support platform architecture, release planning, backlog refinement, implementation activities, and production deployments.
• Develop reusable standards, automation, documentation, and support procedures to improve platform consistency and reliability.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to data, performance, integrations, APIs, identity, security, and user experience.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, engineers, cybersecurity, operations, QA, and project teams to deliver high-quality analytics solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, operational procedures, and support documentation.
• Support self-service business intelligence initiatives and promote analytics best practices throughout the organization.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Tableau capabilities, implementation patterns, administration, development, integration, and lifecycle management.
• Experience with APIs, identity and access controls, data management, testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and release coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Tableau development, platform engineering, analytics, business intelligence, or related technical roles.
• Strong experience with Tableau implementation, configuration, development, integration, testing, and production support.
• Experience building dashboards, visualizations, data sources, extracts, and governed reporting solutions.
• Strong understanding of data visualization, performance tuning, dashboard design, and data storytelling principles.
• Experience translating stakeholder requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Experience working within Agile development environments and participating in iterative delivery processes.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience creating technical documentation, operational procedures, and support materials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across technical and business teams.
• Tableau Desktop Specialist, Certified Data Analyst, Server Certified Associate, Salesforce/Tableau certification, or similar analytics certification preferred.
• Experience supporting government, Public Trust, regulated, or large enterprise environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity, audit requirements, data protection practices, accessibility standards, and operational governance is preferred.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

The base salary range for this direct-hire position is $120,000 -$150,000 annually, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual compensation is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including skills, experience, education, and training.
