LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Lead Salesforce Technical Architect who enjoys solving complex business challenges through innovative CRM solutions, establishing enterprise architecture standards, and driving digital transformation initiatives. This hybrid direct-hire opportunity offers the chance to provide technical leadership for a mission-critical Salesforce environment while partnering with government stakeholders, engineers, security teams, and business leaders to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.

Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid - 1 day per week onsite)


Responsibilities

• Define and maintain Salesforce platform architecture, technical standards, integration patterns, governance frameworks, and platform roadmaps.
• Design, configure, develop, integrate, test, document, and support Salesforce solutions utilizing Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, OmniStudio, Flow, Apex, Lightning Web Components, APIs, and DevOps Center.
• Lead architecture decisions related to CRM case management, customer engagement, workflow automation, reporting, and enterprise integrations.
• Design and support Salesforce data models, security models, sharing models, role hierarchies, automation frameworks, and Lightning experiences.
• Translate business, mission, security, accessibility, and operational requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Support backlog refinement, implementation planning, release readiness, and production deployment activities.
• Develop reusable solution patterns, technical standards, automation strategies, and support procedures that improve platform sustainability and reduce technical debt.
• Troubleshoot complex issues involving platform configuration, custom development, integrations, APIs, security, identity management, and performance.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, data, QA, operations, privacy, and business teams to deliver secure and compliant solutions.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation, technical designs, implementation guides, operational runbooks, and testing documentation.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and best-practice guidance across Salesforce initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, technical leadership, Salesforce architecture, or enterprise CRM environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Salesforce implementation, administration, development, integration, and lifecycle management.
• Deep knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, OmniStudio, Flow, Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce integration patterns.
• Experience designing secure, scalable, upgrade-friendly solutions that minimize technical debt and support long-term platform sustainability.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security architecture, sharing models, role hierarchies, permissions, identity management, and access controls.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, data management, testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, and release coordination.
• Ability to document technical designs, architecture decisions, implementation approaches, test results, operational procedures, and risks in both business and technical language.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments and translating stakeholder requirements into maintainable technical solutions.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across product, engineering, QA, cybersecurity, operations, and government teams.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.

• Experience supporting federal government, Public Trust, or highly regulated environments.
• Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility standards, cybersecurity requirements, auditability, and data protection practices.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Infrastructure as Code, and platform release automation.
• Knowledge of federal compliance frameworks including NIST, FISMA, FedRAMP, audit controls, and least-privilege security principles.
• Experience establishing platform governance, operational readiness, documentation standards, observability, and reusable solution frameworks.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, Atlassian products, Snowflake, CRM ecosystems, data catalogs, and enterprise integration platforms.

The salary range for this direct-hire position is $160,000 - $205,000 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
