LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Senior Microsoft Infrastructure Automation Developer who enjoys building cloud-native platforms, automating infrastructure at scale, and driving operational excellence through modern DevOps practices. This fully remote direct-hire opportunity offers the chance to support enterprise Azure environments, Kubernetes platforms, and infrastructure automation initiatives while helping deliver secure, reliable, accessible, and maintainable digital services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, integrate, test, document, and support Microsoft Azure solutions utilizing Azure, AKS, Bicep, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Entra ID, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Defender for Cloud, and related cloud technologies.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate provisioning, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure.
• Build, optimize, and support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Manage and enhance Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments and containerized application platforms.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, observability, and platform reliability solutions.
• Translate business, security, accessibility, and operational requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Support platform architecture, implementation planning, backlog refinement, release readiness, and production deployments.
• Develop reusable automation frameworks, deployment standards, operational tooling, documentation, and support procedures.
• Troubleshoot complex issues involving cloud infrastructure, APIs, identity management, networking, security, performance, and platform operations.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, data, QA, operations, and business teams to deliver secure and sustainable solutions.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, operational runbooks, architecture decisions, and testing artifacts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in Infrastructure as Code, cloud engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure automation.
• Strong hands-on experience implementing, configuring, administering, and supporting Microsoft Azure environments.
• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container platform operations.
• Experience developing Infrastructure as Code solutions using Bicep or similar technologies.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and deployment processes.
• Experience with Azure services including Entra ID, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and Defender for Cloud.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, access controls, monitoring, platform reliability, and operational excellence.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate stakeholder requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
• Experience supporting enterprise, government, or highly regulated environments is a plus.
• Experience with Section 508 accessibility requirements, cybersecurity controls, auditability, data protection, and operational governance is a plus.
• Microsoft Azure Administrator, Azure Developer, Azure Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Security Engineer, or Kubernetes certifications are highly desirable.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.

The base salary range for this direct-hire position is $130,000 -$144,000 annually, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires across all U.S. locations. Individual compensation is determined by experience, certifications, location, and other job-related factors.
