Job Description

Codeworks, an LRS company, is seeking an Epic Ambulatory Application Analyst who enjoys improving healthcare technology solutions, partnering with clinical stakeholders, and making a meaningful impact on patient care and operational excellence. This opportunity allows you to support and enhance critical Epic applications while contributing to key initiatives involving Epic Ambulatory, specialty modules, Ambient Experience, and emerging AI-driven healthcare technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Support the full application lifecycle, including planning, analysis, design, configuration, testing, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Epic applications.
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot supported applications and technologies.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex application and system issues.
  • Coordinate with technical teams, operational stakeholders, and vendors to support maintenance, enhancements, and project initiatives.
  • Participate in incident, change, and problem management processes while ensuring service level commitments are met.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, support procedures, disaster recovery documentation, and knowledge transfer materials.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business and clinical stakeholders.
  • Participate in on-call support activities and assist with issue routing and resolution.
  • Identify opportunities to improve application performance, workflows, and support processes.
  • Support projects of varying size and complexity and may lead smaller initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4+ years of experience supporting healthcare information systems, enterprise applications, or related technologies.
  • Epic Proficiency, Accreditation, or Certification.
  • Experience supporting Epic Ambulatory and related Epic modules.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting application implementations, upgrades, testing, and operational support.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Epic Ambulatory Certification.
  • Experience with Epic specialty modules.
  • Experience supporting Epic Ambient Experience solutions.
  • Knowledge of generative AI capabilities and applications within the Epic ecosystem.
  • Experience supporting healthcare organizations and clinical workflows.
  • Experience leading projects, enhancements, or optimization initiatives.

The base range for this contract position is $65.00 - $85.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
